City Boat Race

Join 3-time Olympic champion and rowing adventurer Andrew Triggs Hodge to challenge your mates past and present at the City Boat Race, sponsored by Elston.

Re-discover rowing, reignite your spirit and find out what the charity London Youth Rowing (LYR) is doing with your sport!

The event is part of City Giving Day to support LYR that gives disadvantaged young people access to the powerful sport of rowing, see our impact report here. An iconic location in the City of London.

Outline:

• Each team of 4 'athletes', and must be a mixed team.
• Boat Race distance: 6.8km, relay style ergo event.
• Live side by side racing.
• Racing runs in waves every half hour from 4pm to 6pm – you can propose a start-time to suit you when you sign up and we will do our best to accommodate it.
• there will be a prize for the fastest time at the afterparty in the Anthologist, Gresham St.
• Entry fee of £500 per team payable on team sign up - all funds to the Charity London Youth Rowing.
• Sept 26th 2023, Tuesday, 4pm to 6pm. City of London.
