London Youth Rowing is proud to announce the return of the National Junior Indoor Rowing Championships (NJIRC) – and 2026 is set to be our biggest and most inclusive year yet!

NJIRC North will be held in Leeds at John Charles Centre for Sport on Friday 27th February 2026

NJIRC South will be run in London at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - Cooper Box Arena on Friday 20th March 2026

And a NEW NJIRC Virtual will be run online on our virtual platform between 2nd - 19th March 2026

We will be connecting both live and virtual events and opening the doors for every rowing club and school across the UK and abroad to take part with entries opening Monday 3rd November 2025.

This landmark year will bring young people together from all backgrounds to experience the excitement, competition, and community spirit that NJIRC is famous for. Whether racing live in London or the North or logging on from your rowing machine anywhere in the world, everyone can join the action.
