We have partnered with Art Invest this year for two full days on The Thames.

Dates: 18th & 19th June.

‍What is the Oarsome Challenge?‍

Using strong stable boats with experienced coxes, we ensure that the Oarsome Challenge is open to participants and crews from all abilities, and fitness levels. We especially welcome people who have never rowed - the Oarsome Challenge is a truly unique way to try the sport for the first time!

In 2025, 34 crews over 3 days, got stuck in the team challenge of a life time. Join us to discover your team, discover your ability, discover London!

The Oarsome Challenge is a fundraising event, in support of LYR's nationwide programmes to get young people active through rowing. Your team will be challenged to raise £2,000 to take part in the event.
