The Royal Docks Adventure (RDA) in Newham provides LYR an unrivalled facility to offer on-water rowing to young people across East London. This is our biggest site in East London, in addition to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Surrey Quays Watersports Centre and Fairlop Waters.

Activities

The RDA host Junior and Adult learn to row courses, after which you can join our intermediate Development Squad for a fun and casual rowing club experience. Or, you can join our Competitive Squad, Globe Rowing Club (GRC) to train and race at national and international level.

The RDA centre is also home to other water sport activity like kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing, hosted by the Sea Cadets.

Your school or youth club can also book one-off on-water rowing sessions, or groups of sessions, as part of extra-curricular activity or PE lessons.

And, similarly London Youth Rowing offer Corporate Team Building Days for your employees, with half and full day options available.
