London Youth Rowing statement on Coronavirus, 17th March 2020 London Youth Rowing's priority is the health of all programme participants, partners, staff members and session coaches and their wider circle of family and friends. Following government guidelines, we have made decisions which reflect this duty of care. On Tuesday 17th March 2020, LYR programme activity was suspended in order to protect the health and wellbeing of participants and staff. This includes Active Row school activity, Easter holiday camps and all LYR supported rowing events up to June 2020. LYR staff have been instructed to work from home until further advice is given by government officials and health professionals. We are deeply saddened by this current global crisis, and wish nothing but better health and quick recovery for those who have been affected. We will resume normal LYR activity as soon as physically possible and are still available to give advice around rowing or fitness during this time. Email us on [email protected].
