LYR are looking for a Programme Co-ordinator to manage delivery of school and community rowing activity in the London Borough of Newham.

Role Overview:

This is an administrative role and the person in this role will be based at Royal Docks Adventure in Newham.

LYR Head of Operations

Salary:

London Living Wage

Terms:

15 hours a week across 3-5 days

Key Duties

  • Lead day to day management of delivery of London Youth Rowing’s schools and community outreach programme, for the London Borough of Newham (LBN)
  • Proactively market the programme to LBN schools, community groups and others to generate bookings for the programme
  • Liaise with MSSC (Sea Cadets), who deliver the programme in partnership with LYR
  • Allocate staff and equipment to deliver booked sessions and provide oversight of day to day delivery onsite
  • Monitor the collection of waivers and participant demographic and attendance data for sessions run under the programme, using LYR’s register system
  • Work with LYR’s finance function to invoice schools for sessions
  • Draft quarterly reporting for LB Newham on the progress of the programme, working with LYR’s Head of Operations

  • Experience of and high levels of customer service
  • Experience of local school and education processes
  • Able and willing to work weekends during peak season
  • Good time management and able to prioritise your work

  • Knowledge of the Outdoor Industry
  • Marketing and social media
