LYR Champions

Now you have the opportunity to join our mission to get young people between 11-18 years active, in some of London’s most disadvantaged communities.

A small donation each month has a huge impact. You can help:

  • Over 7000 young Londoners access rowing each year
  • Children from 70 state schools enjoy extra-curricular sport and activity as part of our engagement programmes
  • Those in Alternative Provisions, take steps towards re-entering mainstream education within 4 London boroughs
  • Support our Breaking Barriers initiative that provides young people access to further education and employment opportunities, accessing support from over 40 corporate mentors
  • Provide opportunities for many young people to race and compete at all levels through partnerships with local rowing clubs and the Mossbourne Academy Federation

Sign up to change a young person's life, by donating £25 or £50 per month, or £1000 per year as part of our corporate package.

"I’ve seen first hand the impact LYR has had on my children as they learned to row, and then gained a wider appreciation for its work as a trustee. I’m pleased that my ongoing support will help LYR keep making champions every day."

- Jon Grussing, LYR Champion
