Team Albatross

After departing our temporary home on Islay, we rowed through squalls and an indecisive tide north alongside the Mull of Kintyre towards an area that’s been highlighted on our maps for sometime, Corryvreckan. This area is famous for having one of the largest natural whirlpools, as well as the tidal races all around the area. Kat, Will and Eddie are now rowing up the sound of Luing towards the Isle of Mull. We’ve passed two nest sites for sea eagles, seen a few seals and a vibrant community of sea birds. This is the one of the most scenic rows I’ve even seen!
