Course C – 12-2pm Sundays, 9th, 16th and 23rd January 2022 *Third & Forth Form/Year 9 & 10*
Location & Access: University of London Boathouse (ULBC), 81 Hartington Rd, Chiswick, London W4 3TU. Parking available on road outside. Nearest overland station is Chiswick (3/4 min walk).
Cost: £49 for each course.

After graduation from the course your child will be invited to join the J14/J15 (Third & Forth Form or Year 9/10) rowing squad that train at the same location or Fifth Form/Senior squad depending on their age.
Clothing: Depending on the weather bring jogging or gym kit, preferably closer fitting (due to moving parts and moving seats). It it’s wet or cold, extra base layers and water proofs are recommended, but avoid hoodies, baggy garments and winter jackets. Life jackets will be supplied and will need to be worn over the top of clothes.
Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes before the session dressed in the clothes you plan to row in, ready to go. Also bring, a change of clothes and a towel. You will be able to use changing facilities in the University Boathouse before and after the session if you’d like.
Valuables: You will be able to keep small valuables in a dry bag with the coaches.
Coaches: The group will be coached by our dedicated coaching team that are also part of London Youth Rowing.
The boat: We will use a mixture of quad and octuple scull boats, using two blades (oars) for each rower. This type of rowing is safe and stable and is the perfect way to introduce rowers to crew rowing.
