NJIRC is back on 28th February 2020 at the Copper Box Arena.
Entries are now OPEN.

Entries will close at 5pm on Friday 14th February 2020. Find out your race categories, here.

The Championship is in it's 14th year, and will be taking place at the Copper Box Arena on the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for the second time.

Hosted by LYR and over 200 volunteers, NJIRC supports around 2000 young people each year in racing for a chance to become National Champion on indoor rowing machines. Races range between 2 minutes and 2000m.

It is the highlight of the year for Active Row, our flagship outreach programme funded by Sport England and Tideway.

Get ready for appearances from rowing celebrities, our Festival of Sport and as ever, some inspiring racing. Check out last year's event wrap-up to find out what to expect!

"NJIRC is a fantastic event for young rowers to experience real competition. From last year, I know the atmosphere when you walk in is overwhelming, rowing just doesn’t have this energy anywhere else. There is huge support from young people, teachers and coaches who have travelled from all over the UK. I can’t wait to be part of the volunteering team with Tideway again this year and supporting on the race floor!”
