Children and young people learn-to-row course, available this Easter holiday at the Royal Docks Adventure, Newham. 

Available to those aged 11*-18 years, this week long course is tailored to those who have no previous experience of rowing.

*Under 11's are not permitted to take part for safety and insurance purposes.  

You can pick from the following courses:

• Monday 12th - Friday 16th April, 10-11:30am
• Monday 12th - Friday 16th April, 12:30-2:00pm

Rowing is a great way to get active and enjoy the outdoors. By the end of the week, participants will have been taught basic rowing technique, parts of a boat and how to manoeuvre a boat both independently and in a team. 

Checklist for your course:

• Please wear a face mask / covering upon arrival
• Participant Waiver - please download, sign and bring to your first session
• 2 sets of clothes - if you fall in, you will need to get warm and dry 
• Shoes you don't mind getting wet
• A water bottle
• Any medication that might need to be administered in an emergency e.g. an inhaler 

Covid-19 assessment: London Youth Rowing prioritise the health and safety of their staff and participants. A full risk assessment of the boat club and activity has been conducted and is available upon request. All participants will be sent up to date Covid-19 procedures to take part in rowing activity in advance of the course.
