London Youth Rowing can help you make sustainable changes in your work place. Understand what it means to come together as a team, by learning how to row.

Half and full day courses available for groups of 20-80 people. Main operations from Royal Albert Docks with other sites across the whole of London including the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

What to expect:

Arrive at your location ready to take part in an action packed session, hosted by fully qualified rowing coaches all with experience coaching at beginner through to competitive level.

At the start of your session, you will be given a tour of the location, introduced to basic rowing equipment and terminology and taught how to handle and manoeuvre your vessel. There is major emphasis on learning how to work closely in a team, communicating proficiently and handling the complexities of an new environment, in crews of 4-8 people.

During a half day course, a mid-morning break will be provided complete with catering upon request. During a full day course, more time is spent learning basic skills, first on indoor rowing machines, followed by more time on the water and additional catering.

Your session will finish with side-by-side racing with your team, for a chance to put new skills and communication strategies into practice.
