LYR programmes are a vital part of our development and a great opportunity to ensure that the PSA targets related to PESSCL are achieved.
LYR is delighted to announce the launch of Row East London! (RoEL) a ground-breaking initiative for young people in the 10 East London Olympic and Gateway boroughs to significantly improve fitness, health and well-being.
RoEL will be introduced in at least 50% schools and a large number of youth clubs in the ten boroughs, and will encourage thousands, including those with disabilities, to take part in an exciting programme of regular physical activity. The initiative will also strongly promote pathways to on-water rowing and other sports.
