The dreaded indoor rower or 'ergo' - the bane of many a rowers life!

We don't look at it that way at London Youth Rowing. The Indoor Rower or the 'ergo' is much, much more than that for us.

Thanks to Concept2 - the worlds leading rowing machine manufacturer - we have over 100 state of the art rowing machines featuring the latest technology. These machines are available for free loan to schools and youth clubs across London .

Where schools and youth clubs have little or no equipment of their own, the ergo comes into its own. Anybody who has used one will know just what an exhausting but fun piece of equipment it can be. It is easily storable - a bonus in a lot of schools and youth clubs. Because of the new software and games available on the latest Concept2 models, the ergo can be used for a wide range of cross-curricular lessons including math's, physics and biology.
