London Youth Rowing hosted the 7th NJIRC at the Lea Valley Athletics Centre in North London on the 15th March.

Thank you so much if you were one of the 2538 people that entered. We are really pleased with the feedback and the day, we believe was a great sucess. Its always tough when you stage an event like this becasue you hope that people will ‘get it’ and turn up and have a go – and boy did you do that!

Thanks to all of our supportes BNY Mellon, Concept 2, Outstanding Events and The Lea Valley Athletics Centre – we could not have done it without you. A big thank you to Julia Lindsey for running the evnt so well this and for making all the small bits fit into the biggest and best event we have ever done.

Thank you also to everyone of the 170 volunteers that came and sweated tears to make sure the event was a success.

Special thanks to you and your teacheres though – you have supported London Youth Rowing for years now and it is really amazing that you continue to do that – we will be looking at the event next year very soon and we will hopefully set a date as soon as we can, so you can get training!
