Hillingdon Triathlon
3 schools took part in this inaugural event that we trialled with the British Triathlon team. Pupils from years 7,8,9 and 10 raced over their set indoor rowing distances of 2minutes, 3minutes, etc. in increments of 1 minute for each year group before racing off to run around the large field at Haydon School where it was held.. Their times were collated from the minute they began to row to the second they passed the finish line. It made for some dramatic departures from the machines!There were many exhausted youngsters after the event but they all had enjoyed this novel way of competing.
