LYG 2008
The final of 2008’s London Youth Games took place on the 6th July. On a wet Sunday morning 25 boroughs competed in this year’s London youth Games indoor rowing event.
A total of 186 competitors travelled a distance of 224,927 meters over the course of a couple of hours. No records were broken but energy and enthusiasm were unbridled!
City of London were first with a grand total of 309 points
Barnet were second with 287
Joint 3rd were Greenwich, Kensington & Chelsea and Waltham Forest with 285 points each
Many of team City of London, Barnet and Waltham forest have booked onto this year’s summer courses at our centers in Hackney, Wandsworth and Newham.
