Thames Rowing Club (TRC)
London Youth Rowing (LYR) begane their affiliation with TRC in 2008. TRC is located in Putney, London on the Embankment and overlooks the start of the famous Boat Race course.
Thames Rowing Club celebrated it’s 150th year in 2010 and has a long history in the sport. We are proud to be affiliated with them.
At Thames RC we focus on the performance end of the achievement and therefore focus on ages 14 to 18 (Yr9 and up). We do however offer a summer term course for those younger athletes.
Everyone starts by doing a Learn 2 Row Course.
From there individuals focus on improving there skills and learning to race.
Our Goals for both the Boys and Girls Squads are to produce quads capable of competing at Henley Royal Regatta
