Paola graduated from the University of Leipzig. She also completed an internship in the Spinal Cord Injury Centre at the Royal National Orthopedic Hospital, Stanmore, Middlesex – giving her great experience to bring to our FES Assisted Rowing programme.  She will also make an important contribution to the adaptive schools’ programme at the London Regatta Centre, and she will be working with SEN (Special Education Needs) schools as part of the Row East London! initiative. Finally, Paola will be looking to develop further our Special Olympics pilot programme.

Paola says ‘I’m very much looking forward to doing some more work on the FES Rowing as well as getting involved in the Special Olympics – and of course getting to know a bit more of London’s day, and night life!’

We are pleased to be welcoming such a ‘high flyer’ on board!
